Legit local hops won’t be limited to the basketball court at Sleep Train Arena. On Monday, the Sacramento Kings detailed several upgrades to their current home in advance of the 2013-2014 NBA season. One of the key improvements they made — aside from fixing the leaky roof — was at the concession stands.
The Kings will now be offering locally crafted brew throughout the season. The plan is to rotate different offerings from several breweries. During the first home preseason game on Monday, the Kings offered Coloma Brown by American River, White IPA by Black Diamond, and White IPA and Rubicon IPA by Anchor Steam.
Here’s the list of local breweries that will have beer on tap at Sleep Train Arena this season:
Anchor Steam – San Francisco
Firestone – Paso Robles
Black Diamond – Concord
Sierra Nevada – Chico
Rubicon – Sacramento
American River – Rancho Cordova
